Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14000

Our EMS Experience

Over the last several years, GBK, has been a member of, and contributor to, The International Organization for Standardization's (ISO) Technical Committee 207 (TC 207).  In that period, our partners have worked not only to develop a comprehensive understanding of international environmental management system standards (ISO 14000), but to concentrate on their application to existing management schemes.  Our partners have assisted organizations ranging from the Malaysian government to the US Army in implementing on implementing the compliant systems.  In 1998, one of our clients was the first DoD contracting organization to be registered.

One effect of our EMS efforts has been the development of a unique series of implementation tools and training designed to put our clients ahead of the proverbial "curve."  Our training packages are designed to help organizations realize a compliant program that fits their existing management systems.
