GBK Deploys Multi-language e-Learning to Germany, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands. July 10th, 2006 Oklahoma City
The US Army's Installation Management Agency - Europe Division has engaged GBK to develop and deploy a comprehensive, web-based, multi-language e-learning solution for US Army facilities distributed throughout Western Europe. This eight-hour high production value course is intended to train US Government environmental compliance officers and host-nation environmental personnel with the environmental regulations unique to their respective countries, as well as, the local and regional requirements. "This has been a great project for our design team," says Dave Cooper, Senior Consultant with GBK, "because we've been asked by our client to build a true, state-of-the-art product. We've pulled out all the stops on this one." The $350K project includes the designing, developing, and deploying of learning content to be delivered through a complex navigation system based on the user's native language and area of assignment. GBK plans to deploy the English version on the US Army Army Knowledge Online (AKO) site in early August, with the German version following in early October. The Italian version should be deployed in mid fall of 2006. For more information contact Dave Cooper
