Designed and deployed a multi-user LMS interface for use by EHS staff. This tool allows the administrator to assign online training, monitor performance and completion of individual courses and collate student records upon completion. This allows a fully accountable and auditable training record to be produced for the entire organization ensuring regulatory compiance with training requirements. Students may also print of certificates upon course completion for their own display/records. Furthermore, administrators may assign instructor-led training and other events to personnel and record attendance. This LMS is hosted by GBK on our servers.

US Army Garrison Fort Sill, Directorate of Public WorksGBK's geospatial technology team was tasked with creating an ArcGIS Server web application incorporating basic GIS tools, queries and dynamic data. The project was to create an application which allowed Fort Sill's extensive GIS data to be brought together and converted into a usable and cohesive tool. The result is the 'Army Mapper' application which allows soldiers, civilian personnel, emergency responders and contractors to search, identify and track facilities and infrastructure on the installation. This tool ultimately eliminated the need for the client to pay for costly GIS licensis that are normally needed to operate the basic tools incorporated in the web application.Both theHAZTRACKER and'Army Mapper' projects represented new ground for GBK as a consultancy firm. Both tasks had a heavy reliance on IT systems and programming to develop the management tools needed to meet the deliverables. In particular, the 'Army Mapper' project resulted in a product almost unique to this day in terms of the hybrid integration of GIS technology and .NET platfor design |

As a RCRA-regulated Large Quanity Generator, Fort Sill needed a system to track and manage significant quantities of hazardous waste generated on post every month. GBK's IT Development Department designed, developed and deployed a searchable .NET-based management tool that allows DPW personnel to track all hazardous waste from date and point of turn-in to shipment off post. HAZTRACKER allows the user to enter all appropriate HW Profile Sheet, HW Label and DD1348-1A information, print these documents and search on the status of any given waste. Disposal costs may also be input into the system and other information which may assit in the formulation of manifest documentation prior to shipment. Furthermore, HAZTRACKER allows for the MSDS for each waste to be stored in association with the applicable record for print out and use by unit-level waste accumulators.The GBK HAZTRACKER tool is a stand-alone application deployable behind a firewall. It is fully customizable and available for deployment to all private and public sector clients. |

US Army Garrison at Fort Sill; Directorate of Public WorksIn order to allow environmental program managers, supervisory personnel and environmental compliance officers to manage training requirements and effectively deploy requisite training to the appropriate personnel, GBK designed, built and deployed a Training Management System (TMS) and re-configured existing content. GBK also built, designed and deployed an administrative User Interface (UI) to provide the user with the functionality to facilitate the identification and assignment of relevant learning content to organizational personnel.
