For over fifteen years GBK's EMS Group has worked not only to develop a comprehensive understanding of international environmental, health and safety management system standards (such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001), but to concentrate on their application to existing management schemes. The EMS Group has assisted organizations ranging from the Malaysian government to the US Army in implementing compliant systems. Our implementation services include:
Our unique Environmental Management Systems Implementation Workshop (EMSIW) is an intensive, quick-paced developmental workshop made possible through extensive preliminary groundwork provided by EMS experts with extensive experience in management systems as well as the organization's environmental programming. The requirements of each task in the development process are briefed, followed by facilitator-lead developmental mini-workshops based on your facility’s EMS requirements. EMS tools developed specifically for your implementation will be provided to guide, as well as expedite the work plan development process. The EMSIW has the terminal objectives of both developing a comprehensive implementation work plan, and developing a common understanding of the systems approach to environmental management. After the event, each implementation team member will be intimately familiar with the intended scope of the EMS, and his/her respective role in implementing it at the facility, complete with resource requirements and implementation timelines.
